Hirano-go Town Summer Festival of Kumata-jinjya Shrine
I had been to shoot the "Hiranogo Summer Festival" of Kumata-jinjya Shrine of Osaka-City, Hirano-ward June 25 and July 12, 13.
Kumata-jinjya Shrine is location of the place of about a 5-minute walk from JR Hirano Station. They say that "Hirano" is called "Hirano-go" in old times and that is famous Kango Shuraku (circular moat) in modern history. That had been made by Hironomaro Sakanoue who is a grandson of one of the most famous Shogun Tamuramaro Sakanoue.
It is held the festival for four days July 11 to 14 in every years. Two days are held the Mikoshi and Futon-taiko go around the cities for Shinto ritual, July 11 and 14. Another days are held the danjiri (Parade float) walking around the cities. I join to this for shooting the Nishiwaki team every year. And I wear the costume of Nishiwaki team to shoot as officials. (But this year I had never been to shoot the Mikoshi and Futon-taiko, because that was the role of the other team in this year)
I thank you for everyone of this festival.

I am interested in documenting and introducing the world to traditional Japanese culture. My main motif are the Japanese traditional festival and the environment. The characteristic of my works are simplification of the subject, exaggerated perspective, the color control with a feature, and that is to use as reference the characteristics of Ukiyo-e and I have named to "Digital Ukiyo-e(Registered trademark)". I began photographing at the age of 13 and belongs to The Photographic Society of Japan.
